XGen Modifiers provide a number of ways to manipulate Spline primitives and create effects using primitives. You can apply modifiers to geometry to create a modifier chain where each modifier uses the geometry of the previous modifier as input. Chaining modifiers lets you create different effects and grooms with your generated primitives. For example, the use Noise modifier to add noise along a spline primitive.
You can edit modifiers in the Modifiers tab in the XGen Window. By default there are no XGen modifiers added to a Spline primitive when you create a Description . To see the available modifiers, click the Modifiers tab, then click the Add new modifier icon: . See Add XGen modifiers to Descriptions.
You can save a modifier and its attribute to an .xgfx file, then load this file in another Description. See Save and load XGen modifiers.
Modifiers can be disabled or deleted from a Description. See Disable or delete modifiers.
