The Control Wires modifier lets you use selected curves to influence the behavior of generated guides. You can save the control wires to an Alembic file then click Attach Hair System on your reference pose. XGen calculates a surface binding point for each wire for evaluation.
Sets the amount of control each wire has on each primitive. When set to 0, the primitive is controlled by the nearest wire. Setting the Smoothness to higher values blends the control influence between other wires. The breakage attribute controls the falloff of the interpolation from the base to the tip.
Controls the falloff of the interpolation by setting a falloff radius along the primitives from base to the tip.
When set to 0, the interpolation is applied smoothly from the base to the tip. Higher Breakage values increase the amount of influence at the tip, allowing the primitives to pull apart as the control wires separate.
