Repeat transforms to position other objects

Select, hide, and transform objects

Use mirrored geometry
Duplicate, copy or delete selected objects
Delete objects
- Select
an object.
- Press the Delete key, or select Edit
> Delete.
To
un-delete objects, click over them in the Organizer window.

Copy, cut, and paste
objects
- To copy (duplicate) objects, select Edit
> Duplicate.
- To delete objects, press the Delete key,
or select Edit > Delete.
Duplicate objects
- Select an object.
- Select Edit > Duplicate.
The duplicated object
appears on top of the original object. Press H to use
the transform handle to move it away.
NoteIf you plan to re-import
a model you’ve duplicated, use the Organizer to first delete its
duplicate geometry.
Multiple
duplications with transformation (Smart Duplicate)
- Select an object.
- Select Edit > Duplicate.
The first duplicated
object appears on top of the original object. Press H to use
the transform handle to alter the position, rotation, or scale of
the duplicate.
- Select Edit > Duplicate again.
The object will be duplicated a second time and the previous transform
repeated on the second duplicate.
Repeating duplications with transformations
is an easy way to equally space copies of an object, or create patterns
of objects in the scene.
Undo your actions
You can undo your actions at any time. Press Ctrl+Z,
or select Edit > Undo.
You may need to undo
several times to get back to the desired state.
