Creating assets from the Node Editor

 
 
 

You can create assets from the Node Editor using the work area or node marking menus. For more information about assets, see Assets Overview.

Create an asset using the work area marking menu

  1. Select, from the scene view, the objects that you want to include in your asset.
  2. the work area of the Node Editor and select either Create Asset from Viewport Selection or Create Asset with Transform from Viewport Selection.
    NoteYou must have at least one node selected in the scene view in order to access these menu items.

Remove an object from an asset using the work area marking menu

  1. Select, from the scene view, the objects that you want to remove from your asset.
  2. the work area of the Node Editor and select Remove Viewport Selection from Asset.
    NoteYou must have at least one node selected in the scene view in order to access this menu item.
TipYou can also create assets or remove an object from an asset using the menu items from the node marking menus.
