The Character Controls contain the following main areas and options:

Change the appearance of rig effectors. |
Select Control Rig > Rig Look, then select an effector style. |
Change to Full Body keying and manipulation mode. |

Select Source, then select an input. |
Create an auxiliary or pivot effector. |
-click an IK effector cell and select Create Aux Effector or Create Pivot Effector. |

Select the effector in the scene and press . To remove all extra effectors for a cell, -click and select Clear Extra Effectors. |
Pin an effector in Translation. |
Select the corresponding IK effector cell, then click . |
Pin an effector in Rotation. |
Select the corresponding IK effector cell, then click . |
Temporarily release all pinning. |

Edit retargeting parameters in the Attribute Editor. |
Select Character > Edit Properties. |
