You can add multiple
influence objects at the same time to your smooth skinned geometry.
This saves you time when rigging your characters.
To add multiple influence objects at
the same time to smooth skinned geometry
- Smooth bind your geometry to its skeleton.

Bind smooth skin.
- Create the influence objects for your
skinned geometry and move them into the positions you want them
at when influencing the skin.
- Select the influence objects and then -click
your smooth skin geometry to include it in your selection.
- In the Animation menu
set, select
Skin > Edit Smooth Skin > Add Influence > .
- Set the influence options, then do one
of the following:
- Click Add to add
the selected objects as new influences to your smooth skinned geometry
and close the Add Influence Options window.
- Click Apply to
add the selected objects as new influences to your smooth skinned
geometry and keep the Add Influence Options window
open.
