The pass options allow you to modify rendering-related settings for each pass in your scene. Most of these options are described in this section, though some are described elsewhere in the documentation. However, you can always find descriptions for all of the pass options in the Render Pass Property Editor.
Keep in mind that many of the pass options are pulled from those defined at the scene-level first. In order to set them at the pass level, you must specify that you wish to override the scene render options. You can easily identify these options because they are either set to Use Scene Render Options, or they provide a toggle to Override Scene Render Options.
