Creating Movie Files

Location:

The options on the Movie tab allow you to create AVI and QuickTime files out of your rendered sequences.

When the Create option is activated, the movie file is created immediately after the last frame of the pass is rendered. A separate progress bar is displayed so you can monitor the movie creation progress.

To create a movie file

  1. Select the Create checkbox.

  2. Specify a Format. This can be either AVI or QuickTime. Changing the format updates the file extension in the path.

    Note
    • QuickTime support on Windows requires that QuickTime is installed.

    • QuickTime support on Linux requires OpenQuicktime.

  3. Set the remaining options to define the output movie file.
