Adjust the navigation speed interactively

You can move faster or slower as you navigate around objects using the arrow keys. For example, you may want to increase the navigation speed as you move around a large object such as a car, but decrease it as you navigate around a small object such as its rear view mirror.

Press the + (=) key to move more quickly around the scene.
Press the - key to move more slowly around the scene.

NoteThis setting does not affect navigation using the Alt key.

Set a default speed for walking and orbiting

Select Scene > Scene Settings.
The Scene Settings window appears.
The Walk and Orbit fields under Navigation Base Speed let you set the base speed when walking or orbiting.

These values determine the initial speeds when you open a scene. You can change these initial speeds at any time by pressing the + and = (+) keys.
