Present the scene

In presentation mode, you can orbit or walk around a scene, view slides, behaviors, and alternatives, and click on 3D triggers, but not change the scene in any way. Most windows and controls are hidden until you toggle back to edit mode.

Presentation mode is intended for presenting concepts to managers and other colleagues, or for letting them explore on their own.

Turn on/off presentation mode

1. To toggle to presentation mode, select Presentation > Presentation Mode or press the Tab key.

   You can tell you’re in presentation mode when the cursor appears like this.

   In addition, a message at the bottom of the window says “Walk” or “Orbit.”

   

2. To return to authoring mode, where you can view all controls and windows and set up the scene, press the Tab key again.
   NoteFor faster loading of the files you are presenting, open them read-only using File > Open Scene For Comparewithout Copying.
