In addition to regular tools, Composite has tools known as Super tools. Unlike other Composite tools, a Super tool is composed of a set of tools related tool, like a toolbox for of useful gadgets to help with a particular task.
Composite has the following Super tools:

| Macro | The Macro Super Tool lets you design a custom tool, specifically suited to your needs. |
| Reaction | The Reaction Super Tool contains a set of tools that you can use to create 3D compositing effects on your composition. Reaction can be used in tandem with the Layer Editor to build and edit compositions interactively. |
| Garbage Mask | The Garbage Mask Super Tool lets you create quick custom masks. |
| 2D Compositor | The 2D Compositor Super Tool lets you create multilayer compositions by stacking four layers over a background. |

| Keyer | The Keyer Super Tool combines Screen Degrain, Master Keyer matte generator, Cleanup Alpha tool, Edge tool, Garbage Mask, and Spill & Blend operator in one tool. |
| Tracker | The Tracker Super Tool lets you follow the motion of an on-screen element and capture the movement so you can then applying the motion to a second element, creating the appearance that the two appear are locked together. |
| Paint | The Paint Super Tool lets you merge painted strokes on footage to become a raster layer in your composition. |
