You can pin sample points to lock them in place. Pinned points do not get moved as you work and apply operators in the texture
editor. Pinned points are highlighted with a cyan border.
NotePinned points will get moved if you make changes to a previous operator in the texture editing stack, for example, by changing
the iterations of a Regularize operator or by moving a texture support. They can also be changed by adding a sub-projection.
To pin sample points
- Select the sample points to pin.
- Choose .
To select pinned points

Make sure that Pinning Selection mode is enabled.

Select samples in the usual way. See Selecting Sample Points.
To unpin points
- Select the points to unpin.
