Accessing Showcase through the Network

The following steps describe how to access Showcase through a network.

1. On the remote client (the computer that isn't running Showcase) ensure that the network connection to the Web server computer works. At a command-line prompt, type:

     ping x.x.x.x

   Replace x.x.x.x with the Web server's IP address. You should see a message that a response was received.
2. On the remote client, open Internet Explorer and type the address http://x.x.x.x:5555/filename.html replacing x.x.x.x with the Web server's IP address or machine name and filename.html with the name of your custom interface file.
