Adjust the camera tilt, height and perspective
 
 
 

Change the camera angle

  1. Select View > Adjust Tilt.

    The Adjust Tilt window appears.

  2. Drag the Offset from vertical slider to tilt the camera to the left or right. The scene updates as you move the slider.

  3. To restore the camera to the vertical position, click the Default button.

Change the camera height

  1. Select View > Adjust Height.

    The Adjust Height window appears.

  2. Drag the Offset from ground slider to raise or lower the camera. The scene updates as you move the slider.

  3. To restore the camera to the height of a standing viewer, click the Default button.

Change the viewing focal length

Change the focal length to do a "dolly zoom", simultaneously adjusting the focal length and dollying the camera to preserve the object's size relative to the Autodesk Showcase window.

  1. Select View > Adjust Perspective.

    The Adjust Perspective window appears.

  2. Drag the Focal Length slider to change the camera perspective. The scene updates as you move the slider.

    Choose from telephoto:

    Or choose from wide angle:

  3. To best simulate the human eye, click Default to set the perspective back to the 50 mm default.
