The Layers window lets you control paint and sculpt layers. To view the Layers window, click the Layers tab in the upper right corner of the interface.
When you click the Layers tab, Mudbox displays either the Paint Layers window or the Sculpt Layers window, depending on which tool you have currently selected. To switch to display the other layer type, click the Sculpt or Paint display button at the top of the Layers window.
The options in the Layers window change slightly when you select Sculpt or Paint display. For example, the Layers window menu (
