Erase curves or curve segments

1. Select the Erase Curve tool from the Curve Tools tray.
2. Drag on top of an existing curve (or curves) to erase any part of the curve that lies beneath the cursor.
   
   TipTo erase segments of multiple curves in a single stroke, turn off Closest Curve Only in the Erase Curve tool properties. (When Closest Curve Only is off, the Erase Curve brush is limited to operating on only one curve at a time.)

As you erase, the Object List updates to show the curves you create or delete.
