Immediate selection is a method of selecting vertices to make them available for weighting in one operation.
To select a:
- vertex — click the vertex
- group of vertices — click-drag across a group of vertices in the Viewer window
To deselect:
- a vertex — right-click the vertex
- a group of vertices — right-click and drag to create a deselection area
- all vertices — double-click an empty location in the Viewer window
