To import an asset as a reference
- In your parent scene (the scene which you are referencing the file into), select File > Create Reference.
A file browser appears.
- Navigate to select your reference file.
- Click .
The asset is loaded into the scene as a reference.

You should avoid sharing shading networks across assets when working with referenced assets.
