When you use Wiretap
Server 2011 Extension 1 to import a Smoke or Flame timeline, you
can now use Lustre to access the following Dissolve metadata:
- Keyframe animation
- Dissolves with interpolation curves
Dissolves are visible
in Lustre as they are in Smoke and Flame, with the following
limitations:
- Only additive dissolves are available
- Only dissolves with Progressive rendering
are available
WarningBezier interpolation
is not supported by Wiretap Server. If you create an animated dissolve
with Bezier interpolation in Lustre and render in Source Grade render
mode to the Wiretap server, the destination interpolation is set
to Linear in Smoke, which will produce significantly different results
in Lustre.
NoteIn Source Grade mode,
when you render a grade with a dissolve that includes keyframes
and interpolation curves from Lustre to Wiretap Server 2011
Extension 1, the dissolve can be modified in Smoke and Flame.
