12-bit DPX Standard Filesystem Support
 
 
 

Lustre is now able to read 12-bit DPX files generated on the Autodesk Standard Filesystem from Wiretap Server. This is useful when working with timelines that contain R3D media files imported from Wiretap Gateway and rendered media files. In this case, rendered media files are read as DPX files and are no longer converted by the Wiretap Server, which previously caused playback performance issues.

NoteTo avoid problems, verify that 12-bit unpacked media is generated in DPX format and not in RAW file format on the Wiretap server. If this is not the case, edit the Stone+Wire.cfg file and restart the server. Since Wiretap server initially sent RAW files, render the 12-bit content again to send DPX files.
