Modify hair system attributes

 
 
 

To modify all the hair at once, edit the hair system. Before editing, be sure to be either in the Start or Rest Position.

To edit the hair system attributes

  1. Select the hair system in the Outliner or Hypergraph. (Window > Outliner, Window > Hypergraph: Hierarchy)
  2. Modify the settings in the hair system’s Attribute Editor. For descriptions of the hair system attributes, see hairSystemShape. Modifying Nucleus node attributes can also affect your hair simulation. See nucleus.
  3. To see the changes you may have to play the simulation. See Play a hair simulation.
