The following table shows the recommended workflow for working with clips that you may later need to modify using clip history on the EditDesk.

| 3. Apply soft effects to clips on the timeline. Applying soft effects should be the last step in your workflow if you want to continue modifying the clip history. If you process a clip in a module after a soft effect has been added to the clip history, you can no longer modify the preceding clip history. | Soft Effects. |
