Creating and Loading a
User and Sharing User Preferences
Create a user to manage your own preferences. Smoke also provides tools to share preferences between users.
Users do not persist when upgrading from one version of Smoke to another. You need to create new users for the new version. Also, users are not shared between Autodesk Visual Effects and Finishing products. To see the list of users that are no longer compatible with the current version, enable Show All in the Project Management menu. All incompatible users are identified as such in the User box.
