Separating Text
 
 
 

Rather than create a separate axis for each letter you type, you can separate words or sentences created in the Text menu so that each letter can be individually manipulated.

To separate text:

  1. Create text as described in Creating 3D Text.
  2. Select the text to separate.
  3. From the 3D Text menu, click Separate.

    Each letter of the text geometry is given its own axis and offset (to separate the letters). Each letter is now its own independent geometric object. Words are also given their own axis.
