Creating Motion Paths

You can create motion paths to animate the translation of the front clip and the camera.

To create a motion path:

1. In the Motion Paths vs Explicit XYZ section of the Compositor menu, enable Object to enable the motion path for the front clip.

   
   

2. Enable Camera to enable the motion path for the camera.
3. Click Animation to display the Channel Editor.
4. Open the Translate folder in either the Camera or Object folder.
5. Select either the X or Y channel
6. Set the position of the front clip by dragging it in the image window. You can also do this in the Channel Editor.
7. In the timebar, move to a different frame.
8. Set the new position of the front clip by again dragging it in the image window.

   A motion path appears.
