Working with Clips on the Desktop

Collapsing and Expanding Clips
You can
expand and collapse clips on the desktop. Expanding clips makes
it easier to see the progression of a clip from frame-to-frame.
When clips are collapsed, you can fit more on the visible part of
the desktop reel.
A collapsed clip is a stack of frames.
An expanded clip is a strip of contiguous frames.
To
collapse and then expand a clip:
- Move
the cursor over any frame of an expanded clip.
- Press C.
- To
expand the clip, move the cursor over the collapsed clip and press C.
To
collapse and then expand all clips on a reel:
- Position
the cursor over a grey area between clips on a reel.
- Press C.
- To
expand all clips on a reel, repeat the previous two steps.
To
collapse and then expand all clips on the desktop:
- Position
the cursor in the menu.
- Press C.
- To
expand all clips on the desktop, repeat the previous two steps.
