Load Fur

To start using Maya Fur it must be loaded. Maya Fur loads automatically when you install Maya, however, if you should need to load it, use the following procedure.

To load Maya Fur

1. Start Maya.
2. Select Window > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager. The Plug-in Manager window opens.
3. Locate Fur.so (Linux) or Fur.mll (Windows), and turn on Loaded. Maya loads the Fur module and adds the Fur menu to the Rendering menu set.

   To load Fur automatically every time you start Maya, turn on auto load.

4. Click Close.

   You can access Maya Fur features from the Fur menu in the Rendering menu set or from the Hotbox (rendering menus).
