Merge animation layers
You can merge multiple animation layers
together to create a single layer with all of the same objects,
attributes, and animation.
You can merge animation
layers using the default merge options, or open the Merge
Layers Options to specify how you want the merge to occur.
To merge animation layers with default
options
- Select the layers you want to merge.
NoteThe order of selection
does not matter. Layers are merged according to their order in the
stack.
- Do one of the following:
- -click
and select Merge Layers from the pop-up
menu.
- Select Layers > Merge Layers from
the Animation Layer Editor menu
bar.
A new layer containing
all objects, attributes, and animation from the merged layers is
created.
The merged layers are
deleted from the stack and the new layer takes the place of whichever
merged layer is lowest in the stack.
To set merge options and merge animation
layers
- Select the layers you want to merge.
- Do one of the following:
- -click
and select Merge Layers > from
the pop-up menu.
- Select Layers > Merge Layers
> from
the Animation Layer Editor menu bar.
- Set the merge options as required. (See
the
Merge Layer
Options.)

A new layer containing all objects, attributes,
and animation from the merged layers is created.
