If Alias stops unexpectedly, it attempts to save the current data to a special file named m_saved.wire. When you restart Alias you can open this file to retrieve any lost changes.

If Alias...

• quits unexpectedly, or
• freezes and you have to end its process

  As the application exits it writes the current data to a file under your current project, in: wire\_M.SAVES\_msaved_<month>_<day>_<time>_Stage.wire.

Restart Alias, then find and open the _msaved file to retrieve any unsaved changes. You can then save the file under a new name.
