Hide or show a canvas plane
 
 
 

Choose WindowDisplay > Toggles > Canvas Planes.

Sometimes you may want to temporarily turn off the visibility of canvas planes in your view windows.

Note

This does not affect the visibility of a canvas plane in a Paint window.

To hide or show all canvas planes in all windows

  1. Choose WindowDisplay > Toggles > Canvas Planes   to open the Toggle Canvas Plane option box.
  2. Set Toggle Type to All Windows, then click Go.

    The canvas planes and their layers disappear. Only an outline and name remain for each canvas plane.

  3. Choose WindowDisplay > Toggles > Canvas Planes again to show the canvases.

To hide or show canvas planes in a single window

  1. Click the view that contains the canvas plane you want to hide or show.
  2. Choose WindowDisplay > Toggles > Canvas Planes to open the Toggle Canvas Plane option box.
  3. Set Toggle Type to Current Window, then click Go.

    The canvas planes and their layers disappear. Only an outline and name remain for each canvas plane.

  4. Choose WindowDisplay > Toggles > Canvas Planes again to show the canvases.

To hide or show a specific canvas plane

  1. Choose Windows > Editors > Construction Plane Editor.
  2. In the editor, click the icon next to the canvas you want to hide.

    The canvas is hidden, including its name and outline.

  3. In the editor, click the icon next to the canvas to show it again.
    Note

    In the Canvas Layer Editor window, you can hide a canvas plane by selecting it from the lister, then clicking the visibility button to the extreme right of it. However, this will not work in a Paint window.
