Select
the shape in the Canvas Layer Editor window,
or by picking one of its curves. Set the outline and fill options
in the Shape Editor or
the Paint Control Panel.
To edit a shape’s fill
and outline
- Do one of the following:
The shape’s name appears in the Paint
Panel above the Display options.
NoteIf
you pick more than one shape in the Canvas Layer Editor window,
or pick curves that belong to more than one shape using a Pick tool,
the number of picked shapes is displayed in the Paint
Panel above the Display options
(for example, 3 picked shapes). Click this
display and select a shape from the menu.
- Choose Windows > Editors > Shape Editor (or Windows > Control Panel).
The Shape
Editor (or Control Panel)
opens, showing the Outline and Fill settings of the selected Shape.
- In the Shape Editor (or Control Panel),
change the values of the Shape Outline and Shape
Fill options.
The shape simultaneously updates to reflect
the new values.
When selecting multiple
shapes:
- The values for the shape that was first
selected are displayed.
- Modifying the values of one parameter
apply that parameter value to all selected shapes.
To edit a Shape’s shape
Transform the shape or
the shape’s curves using the Transform tools
(for example, Transform > Scale ).
NoteIf
you deform a curve excessively, the shape may not appear as you expect.
