Here are some suggestions to follow while filming
in order to make the match moving process efficient.
If
you use markers, use symmetric objects that produce little or no
glare, such as tennis balls. Live can
track many distinct, naturally-occurring features, so you may not
need to add markers.
Measuring
survey data is almost always useful, but not a requirement. Emphasize
survey data around the area where the CG element will appear.
If you film with a zoom, find out the
range of focal length values. The solver can calculate some focal
length variance but you will get better results if you have the
actual values.
If
you plan to have images scanned from a film source, find out whether the
images are cropped so you can specify the cropped dimensions in
the Setup control panel.
