Command entry:

Exit 3ds Max

Command entry:Click the standard Windows Close button (X) at the far right of the Caption bar.

Exit closes 3ds Max. If you have unsaved work, you'll be asked if you want to save it.

Procedures

To exit 3ds Max:

Choose Application menu Exit 3ds Max.
If the scene has unsaved changes, a prompt asks, “Do you wan t to save your changes?”
Click the Yes, No, or Cancel button.
If you click Yes the scene is saved, if you click No the scene is not saved, if you click Cancel the Exit operation is canceled.

NoteYou can also click the Close button (the X) in the upper-right corner of the 3ds Max window to exit.
