DEPRECATED. This shader is unsupported, but it may still get installed with Softimage to provide compatibility with older scenes that use it. It is recommended that you replace unsupported shaders in your scenes with equivalent shaders from the current Softimage shader library.

Shader Type: Output

Output: Color (RGB) value

Lets you quickly control a scene's depth of field, which is a focused area that begins in the foreground of the subject, passes through the focus plane, and can end in the background (or closer).

Focal Length

Determines the focal length of the lens. A lens with a shorter focal length gives a greater depth of field than a lens with a longer one.

Near Focus

Defines the front (start) distance of the focus area.

Far Focus

Defines the back (end) distance of the focus area.

Strength

Controls the scaling factor of the circle of confusion (unfocused area).

Max COC

Defines the maximum pixel size of the circle of confusion (unfocused area).

Antialiasing

Defines the level of anti-aliasing to be performed.
