Category: Lens

Shader Family: Lens

Output: Color

Renders two images as though seen from the left and right eye without modifying the camera or defining two separate animation paths. When both the Render Left and Render Right values are on, both views are rendered in the same image, either horizontally or vertically, depending on which dimension is largest.

To render both views of a 640 x 480 image, set the resolution to either 1280 x 480 or 640 x 960 in the Render Setup dialog box.

Separation

Defines in SOFTIMAGE units the separation between the eyes.

Focus

Defines in SOFTIMAGE units the distance at which the eye rays converge (cross-eyed; i.e., out of focus). To switch off focusing, set to 0.

Eye

Left

Renders the image from the left eye.

Right

Renders the image from the right eye.
