Lagoa Add Forces

This compound is used as a type of "hub" when applying forces to particles, similar to the Add Forces compound in the Particles > Forces group in the preset manager.

All Lagoa forces can understand the interface between air and points by considering that there is air wherever there is no point with mass.

You plug other force outputs into its force ports (such as any of the forces in the Particles > Forces group), and then it adds up all those forces and applies them to the particles.

The particle's mass value (based on the particle's Mass attribute) is assumed to be 1 so that forces can act upon them accordingly.

Plug this compound's Execute output into a port on the ICETree node or into an Execute port on the Simulation Root node.

See Setting Up Forces for Lagoa Effects [Lagoa Multiphysics Simulations] for more information.

Tasks: Lagoa/Forces

Output Ports: Execute

Gravity

Enable Gravity

Activates the calculation of gravity in the simulation.

Gravity

A default gravity vector used by the simulator.

This is the required defined gravity force used internally by the simulator, and needs to be separated from the other forces.

Air Density

Enable Air Density

Activates the calculation of air density in the simulation.

Density

Sets the density of the air — see Lagoa Air Wind.

Threshold

Sets a limit to the air density value that can be used.

Air Wind

Enable Air Wind

Activates the calculation of wind in the simulation.

Wind Direction

The direction of the wind in XYZ.

Intensity

The strength of the wind applied to the points.

Air Contrast Curve

This profile curve is the contrast between air and the points' mass - see Lagoa Air Wind.

Forces

Force

Defines a force value to be applied to the particles. You can connect any of the force compounds into this port, or you can type in XYZ values to create a general force if nothing is plugged in here.
