This section explains the different ways to view in the Camera Sequencer Editor.
Changing Sequencer Frame Ranges
Use the and boxes on either end of the timeline in Camera Sequencer Editor to set the maximum viewable frame range. These values control
the display only in the Camera Sequencer Editor — they do not affect the start and end frames in the Global timeline.

To match the Sequencer timeline to the Global timeline
- Choose from the menu bar.
Panning and Zooming
By default, you can zoom using the mouse wheel. Scroll forward to zoom in and backward to zoom out. Press Ctrl to zoom quickly,
Shift to zoom more slowly, and Ctrl+Shift to zoom even more slowly.
If desired, you can disable the mouse wheel zoom or restrict it to the Navigation tool so that you can use the mouse wheel
with other tools. See Mouse Wheel in Camera Preferences.
You can also zoom in the Camera Sequencer Editor using the , , and keys.
To pan and zoom
Press , then:

To pan interactively, click and drag.

To zoom in, hold down the middle mouse button.

To zoom out, hold down the right mouse button.
To pan and zoom interactively
Press , then:

To interactively pan, left-click and drag.

To interactively zoom horizontally, middle-click and drag to the left to zoom in, and drag to the right to zoom out.

To interactively zoom vertically, right-click and drag up to zoom out, and down to zoom in.
Tip
-
If you press Ctrl while this tool is active, you can switch to the rectangular zoom tool.

If you're using the Maya interaction mode, press Alt+Shift and right-click to zoom only vertically.
To pan and zoom horizontally
Press , then:

To pan horizontally, click and drag in the mixer.

To zoom in horizontally, hold down the middle mouse button.

To zoom out horizontally, hold down the right mouse button.
To reset the view as before zooming
Framing ShotClips
You can frame specific or all ShotClips in the Camera Sequencer Editor.
- Select one or more ShotClips, then choose from the menu bar or press . If you select a Shot Track first, this command frames all ShotClips on that track.
- To frame all ShotClips on all Shot Tracks, choose or press .
- Place the mouse pointer in the Shot View area and press to reset the start and end frames in the Sequencer timeline to the start and end frames in the Scene timeline.
