This compound is used inside the Strand Dynamics Framework compound to help retain the strands' length when the strands are affected by dynamics collisions and forces. You can use this node to help create your own custom effect.

To add this node, drag it into an ICE tree from the \Data\Compounds subdirectory of the Softimage installation location.
