Environment Variables

Environment variables can be used to modify standard Showcase behavior. To set an environment variable you can right-click on the My Computer icon and choose Properties (or double-click System in the control panel). Next click the Advanced tab, and click Environment Variables.

• Showcase_WEB_ROOT - Sets the location that the Showcase built-in web server uses as the home location. By default, Showcase uses My Documents\Autodesk Showcase 2012\WebRoot.
• Showcase_WEB_PORT - Sets the port on which the Showcase built-in web server listens for the user commands. Default is 5555.
• Showcase_SASH_SIZE - Sets the sash size for the division between 3D and web browser panes in Showcase. If set to 0, the division will not be movable.
• Showcase_NO_MOUSE_WARP - Set to any value if you are working on a touch-screen or with a tablet.
• Showcase_CG_VERTEX_PROFILE - Changes the Cg vertex profile that Showcase uses (for example, arbvp1, vp30, vp40, etc).
• Showcase_CG_FRAGMENT_PROFILE - Changes the Cg fragment profile that Showcase uses (for example, arbfp1, fp30, fp40, etc).
