Add a custom user interface

You can tailor the Showcase viewport using an HTML page. By providing customized panels, you can design an interface that best suits the needs of the people who will be viewing a particular scene.

For details on how to create a custom interface, refer to the Showcase Customization Help, which can be found by clicking Help > Customization Help. Go to the topic named “Custom User Interfaces.”

To toggle the custom user interface on and off:

1. Select File > Settings > Scene Settings.

   The Scene Settings window opens.

2. Under Interface Style, select Use custom user interface.

   The Select a Custom UI File window opens.

3. Type in the URL of the custom user interface you want to use, or click the Browse button to browse to it.
4. In the Scene Settings window, click one of the Position radio buttons to choose where to locate the custom user interface.
