Press U (or select Story > Storyboard).
The Storyboard interface appears near the top of the window.
To play the current slide, do one of the following:
If you are in side-by-side view, press Shift+U to play the current slide in the left view, and press Ctrl+Shift+U to play the current slide in the right view.
If you navigate in the scene during slide playback, shots are stopped, but playback continues.
To play the next or previous slide, or the first or last slide in a storyboard, use the controls that appear at the top of the Storyboard interface or the following hotkeys:
If you are in side-by-side view, press Ctrl+left to control the left view, and press Ctrl+Shift+left to control the right view.
If you are in side-by-side view, press Ctrl+right to control the left view, and press Ctrl+Shift+right to control the right view.
If you are in side-by-side view, press Ctrl+up to control the left view, and press Ctrl+Shift+up to control the right view.
If you are in side-by-side view, press Ctrl+down to control the left view, and press Ctrl+Shift+down to control the right view.
To play all slides (starting from the first slide), click the play button () on the Storyboard overlay.
To stop or pause playback of a slide, click the stop or pause button on the Storyboard overlay. If you pause a slide, click the play button to restart playback. In this case, only that slide is played, rather than all slides.
If a slide contains a behavior or animation that extends beyond the duration of the slide (for example a looped turntable or a long keyframe animation), the behavior or animation will continue while the next slide starts to play. You can stop the behavior or animation by clicking the stop button on the Behavior overlay.
