The Save Movie window includes a button for creating a movie that you can upload to YouTube. See Create a movie from shots or slides.
To create a YouTube movie of one or all shots:
- From the Save Movie window, click .
The YouTube Account Login dialog box prompts you for your YouTube username and password.
- If you do not have a YouTube account, click the link to create one.
- Type your YouTube credentials into the YouTube Account Login dialog box and click .
After a few moments, a Windows Explorer window appears.
- Browse to a folder in which to save a copy of the movie as an AVI file. This will be uploaded to YouTube in the next step.
- Click .
Showcase creates the movie on your hard disk and uploads it to YouTube. Depending on the size of the movie and the speed of
your internet connection, this may take several minutes. A browser window opens at the YouTube page.
- Optional: In the browser window, sign in to your YouTube account again and confirm that your movie has uploaded as expected. The default
permissions for videos are set to “Public.” The privacy options can be modified on YouTube to restrict access.
