Damping property settings

 
 
 

The Damping property settings enable you to damp the orientation of the hips and ankles and define various damping position settings.

The Damping property settings are described in the following table.

Damping property settings

Description

Orientation Damping Mode

When set to Off, the Orientation Damping is disabled.

When set to User, you can manually define orientation damping values for the hips and ankles.

When set to Auto, the Orientation Damping is automatically defined.

NoteAuto is set by default.

Orientation Damping

Lets you damp the orientation of hips and ankles.

Position Damping Mode

When set to Off, the Position Damping is disabled.

When set to User, you can manually define the Position Damping value.

When set to Auto, the Position Damping is automatically defined.

NoteAuto is set by default.

Position Damping

Clamps positions, prevents sudden changes in movement, and removes peaks and filter noise.

Damping Memory Mode

When set to Off, Damping Memory is disabled.

When set to User, you can manually define the time across which damping applies.

When set to Auto, the Damping Memory is automatically defined.

NoteAuto is set by default.

Damping Memory

Specifies the time (in frames) across which damping applies to the hips and feet.

Wrist Peak Sensitivity Mode

When set to Off, the Wrist Peak Sensitivity is disabled.

When set to User, you can manually define the level of sensitivity for quick wrist movements.

When set to Auto, the Wrist Peak Sensitivity is automatically defined.

NoteAuto is set by default.

Wrist Peak Sensitivity

Specifies the sensitivity of the wrists to quick movements.

Hips Peak Sensitivity Mode

When set to Off, the Hips Peak Sensitivity is disabled.

When set to User, you can manually define the level of sensitivity for quick hip movements.

When set to Auto, the Hips Peak Sensitivity is automatically defined.

NoteAuto is set by default.

Hips Peak Sensitivity

Specifies the sensitivity of the hips to quick movements.

Ankle Peak Sensitivity Mode

When set to Off, the Angle Peak Sensitivity is disabled.

When set to User, you can manually define the level of sensitivity for quick ankle movements.

When set to Auto, the Ankle Peak Sensitivity is automatically defined.

Ankle Peak Sensitivity

Specifies the sensitivity of the ankles to quick movements.
