Muted layer

When a layer is muted, its animation is not part of the result animation. Muting is useful when you want to compare two layers that modify the result animation. See Muting, Soloing, and Locking animation layers and Animation Layer buttons.

You cannot mute the BaseAnimation layer, but can duplicate the animation on the BaseAnimation layer to work around this. See Muting the BaseAnimation.
