Process the clips

 
 
 

In the following procedure, you process the two clips to save them as a single result clip.

To process the two clips:

NoteThis procedure assumes you have just completed the previous procedure.

  1. In the Action Track, right-click the Character Track and choose Frame Start/End from the context menu.

    The time range is resized to fit the length of the clips, as shown in the following figure.

    The green marker to the left ( ) and the green marker to the right ( ) represent the start and end of the take. The yellow markers represent the selected segment(s) of the take.

  2. In the Action Track, right-click the Character Track and choose Process Track/Subtracks to New Clip... from the context menu.

    The Process Tracks and Subtracks dialog displays.

  3. Change the Process Rate to 24 FPS and then click OK.
  4. In the Save Clip dialog that displays, navigate to a directory other than the default MotionBuilder Tutorials directory and save your new clip as mia_walk_cycle.fbx.

    In the Story window, a second Character Track (Processing Result for Character Track) appears containing the new mia_walk_cycle.fbx clip.
