Setting the Interaction Mode to use mouse and keyboard shortcuts from other 3D applications while working in MotionBuilder enables you to seamlessly switch between those applications and MotionBuilder without having to learn a new set of keyboard shortcuts. See Settings > Interaction Mode.
The Python Editor includes keyboard shortcuts for most of the commands and scripting actions done via the Python Editor window.
