Accessing Version Control Menu

To access the MotionBuilder Version Control menu, you need to have the Alienbrain version control software product, the Visual SourceSafe version control software product, or both—the Alienbrain and the Visual SourceSafe version control software products installed.

To access the Version Control menu:

1. Launch MotionBuilder.
2. In the Asset manager selection dialog box, click an asset manager from the list of asset managers.
3. Click Select.

   The Version Control menu appears in the MotionBuilder menu bar.

   The Version Control menus for the Microsoft Visual SourceSafe and the Alienbrain software products are similar, but have a few different options that are discussed in the following topics:
