Adding Tutorial assets

 
 
 

The Tutorials asset folder contains various assets required to do the MotionBuilder tutorials. Some of these assets were created using the 3ds Max software or the Maya software. See Opening a file from another 3D package.

Asset browser: tutorial assets

To add an .fbx asset to the scene:

  1. In the Asset browser, click-drag an asset in the Viewer window.
  2. From the contextual menu that appears, select FBX Merge or FBX Open and select an option.
    NoteThe contextual menus differ depending whether the asset is a native .fbx file (created using MotionBuilder) or an .fbx file originating from another 3D software such as 3ds Max or Maya.
