The following procedure outlines a typical user workflow for creating an nCloth garment for a character. While performing
these steps, you should play back your simulation so that you can see the results of your adjustments.
- Make your character’s clothing nCloth.
- Make your character an nCloth or passive collision object.
- Constrain the nCloth clothing to itself and its character.
- Adjust your nCloth clothing’s properties to achieve the appearance and behavior you desire. You can also edit your nCloth’s
properties in a nonlinear manner by painting texture or vertex property maps.
- (Optional) Create external, non-nCloth dynamic forces to influence your nCloth’s behavior.
- (Optional) Cache your nCloth.
- (Optional) Edit, merge, and blend your nCloth caches.
