Level of Detail

 
 
 

Use LOD controls to apply a stochastic culling algorithm to the primitives in the scene. This generates a level of detail effect.

Enable

When on, the automatic level of detail settings are enabled.

Average Width

Sets the average width of all primitives to cull.

See Spline attributes.

Transition Begin Size

Sets the transition from the far to near view, beginning with the screen-size of a 2 K render. Larger values start the transition sooner.

Transition End Size

Sets the transition from the near to far view ending on a screen-size of a 2K render. Set this to a value that is lower than Transition Begin Size.

Far Density Scale

Sets the scale value used to obtain the far view.

Far Width Scale

Sets a width scale value used to obtain the far view.
